Went here twice for breakfast on our weekend trip to Golden. Huge burritos and great prices. I got the Burro burrito both times and my boyfriend got the Javelina. Went 50/50 on the spice level and it was the perfect amount of spice. Burritos at breakfast time kept us full until dinner time. Highly recommend ordering online ahead for pickup since the place gets busy. If there are spots open at the bar you can also sit there to bypass the line.

Friend recommended this place and it was fantastic. They have happy hour drinks from 1-3. Great ambience, almost like an outdoor dive bar. My classic bowl smothered in green chili was fantastic. The burritos seemed like a better deal. My son got the burro burrito, medium. It was too hot for him, so I happily ate the leftovers for dinner. Wife doesn't like spice and the mild classic was about perfect for her. Maybe a bit spicy but it was so good she said it was worth it Kids meals are a fantastic price as well. One kid has the rice and beens, no cheese, while the other 2 split a delicious quesadilla My tequila mule was fantastic as well. The guy at the register who I assume may be an owner was fantastic. Has my sense of humor. I could tell by the haircut. He may have seemed overwhelmed but when my wife wanted to make sure my daughter had no cheese on her rice and beans he said "don't worry, if someone messes it up, I'll fire them"

We are from Michigan and I had a coworker recommend this place to me and WOW I am SO glad he did! There was a line out the door but it was 10000% worth the wait. The burritos are big, spicy, and packed full of flavor! I have no complaints at all! Everyone was friendly and the decor/vibe was super fitting and exciting to walk into this restaurant. We can't wait to come back the next time we are in Colorado

The skinny: best bfast burritos in denver - hands down. The overview: Cute spot in Golden that has blown up quite a bit, premade ones can be found all over now. But trust me its blown up for good reason. Do yourself a favor and venture out to their eclectic Golden location, it has some indoor seating and a nice little patio. Note it does get busy but you can order ahead online to make it easier. The food: I've loved everything I've gotten here but the standouts are: (1) Chupacabra: Super filling, packed with all sorts of meat - chorizo, bacon, sausage. The meatlovers of the burrito world. (2) Javelina: Love the spice from the jalepeno balanced with the sweet of the pineapple. Because I'm a messy eater I normally go for a bowl and for bfast - little giant is enough to be filling but not put me to sleep. Would I come back: Yes and often times do. This is our go-to for weekend burritos and when we have visitors - a great spot before hitting a hike.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. 100% recommend. The service was surprisingly fast for how packed it was. Super popular spot and the line was out the door but we were waiting maybe 15 minutes max. I got a classic with bacon and it had so much flavor. I really wish we went back to try their lunch burritos

On the record. Best breakfast burrito I have had in Denver since moving here in 1997. Chupacabra is magic, the original and Diesel Drip hot sauces are awesome, they have a bar, they have great tunes, and the red onion add was worth a buck or two. I can't speak for lunch, but this is a must in CO for a breakfast burrito. I didn't take a picture of the burrito with tinfoil off because I was too excited to eat it. They also ask for your temp choice. The hot is incredible, but be ready for it. Definitely recommend and see you there (next time I am out in Golden).

Wowza. Granted, I am a visitor to Colorado and I found this place by searching "best burritos" on Yelp. Still, I was impressed and my husband was making noises I usually only hear elsewhere as he ate. I felt the price was right for what we got, but we are from a high cost of living area so maybe this was expensive? We had three different kinds of meat the table and I sampled them all. My pork was beautifully melded with the beans and cheese and peppers provided the right amount of heat I requested. I was surprised at how good the chicken my kids ordered was - the spice on the chicken really stood out. The asada was also good, but I barely was able to steal a tiny bit from my husband. Highly recommend!

This place is open for breakfast, and despite the fact that I arrived in the dark wanting to witness a sunset on the nearby mountain, there was a small crowd already. This is the first place that pops up when I search for "burrito" in Denver, and it delivered a quintessential experience. Even on the breakfast menu, a quality vegan option was available (so many breakfast menus are heavy on egg), and when I asked for it with full green chili, it did indeed come spicy. I didn't see the chips on the menu but I did see some being packed. I wondered if it might have been worth getting chips and a smaller burrito, but my uphill hike was more conducive to a wrapped burrito. I ended up making it up just in time to enjoy a sunrise breakfast. Their beverage selection included a yerba mate drink, which is a strange flavor but does invigorate. This place was substantial to eat in, but offered precisely what I needed in a takeout.
